The police picked up Jack Kelim as he tried to get away on a bicycle after holding up a bank in Boulder, Colorado. Mr Kelim is 82 years old.

A thief tried to steal a necklace from a jeweller's shop in Detroit by throwing a brick at the window. Unfortunately for him, it was made of unbreakable glass, so the brick bounced back, hit him on the head and knocked him out. When he came to, he was under arrest in the local jail.
